R88 SERIES

R88 MARKET BREAKTHROUGH

The new R88 is a bold expansion of Robinson's product portfolio - combining all of the brand's hallmarks: ease of piloting, low maintenance, high levels of safety, and the ability to complete tasks at the lowest hourly cost.

ABOUT THE HELICOPTER

ABOUT R88

Designed for a variety of missions, this helicopter for two pilots and eight passengers can seamlessly change its use - from a firefighting machine fighting fires, to a medical rescue helicopter, to a versatile utility platform or a comfortable means for sightseeing flights for tourists.

Newly designed interior

Robinson plans to introduce all-new trim materials, with every aspect of pilot and passenger comfort - including air conditioning available as standard.

The high-configuration cabin has a flat floor, which allows for various seating arrangements (classic and club), configurations for emergency medical and public services, and future arrangement options.

Rear doors in the style of a drop-down pickup truck hatch make loading easy and allow for HEMS stretcher transport.

Attractive and functional exterior design

The R88 will feature an open tail rotor and a two-blade main rotor. State-of-the-art LED lighting includes flashing landing and taxi lights, tail rotor lights, stage lights and entrance lights - enhancing safety and functionality.

Large sliding doors on both sides provide easy access for passengers and cargo. There is a drop-down hatch at the rear for easy loading or transport of HEMS stretchers.

The helicopter is available with standard skids or optional elevated skids that increase ground clearance and allow installation of a firefighting tank.

High performance

Robinson has partnered with Safran Helicopter Engines to equip the R88 with a 950 shp Arriel 2W engine - known for its performance, durability and reliability.

The R88 will be the first in its class to be offered as standard with Safran's Serenity package, covering 5 years or 2,000 flight hours (whichever comes first). The package includes, among other things, coverage for unplanned Level 3 and Level 4 repairs and priority access to replacement engines.

Additionally, it includes technical support, diagnostics, and advanced digital services such as Health Monitoring and Logbook Connect.

Optional equipment for each mission

The R88 offers a wide range of optional OEM equipment, including a 3,000-pound capacity HEC cargo hook, transport basket, wire strike protection kit, pop-out emergency floats and more.

Greater control in challenging missions

Garmin avionics include G500H TXI displays and GTN touchscreen navigators, providing intuitive operation, clear images and extensive functionality. The G500H TXI system has been expanded to include a crew-alerting system, providing intelligent information about the status of onboard systems.

Garmin's standard four-axis autopilot offers key safety features: leveling mode, hover support, flight performance limit control, and protection at low and high speeds and low altitude.
